Healing: Why It's Not a Finish Line, But a Daily Practice

healed healing Jan 31, 2024

When you embark on a journey toward health, it's natural to envision a finish line – a moment when you can proudly declare, "I am healed" or "I am healthy." However, the reality of this healing journey is often far from linear.

As you navigate the twists and turns of your path to wellness, there may be moments of discouragement. Perhaps you find yourself still falling ill or struggling to shed those last few kilos, despite your best efforts. The external voices, whether from well-meaning friends or your inner critic, may suggest that you just need to try harder or explore the next miracle program, pill, or superfood.

This cycle of seeking, pushing, trying, and feeling like a failure can become a frustrating merry-go-round. The temptation to return to the days of blissful ignorance, where processed seed oils and blue light weren't constant concerns, may creep in. But let's be honest – you don't truly wish to go back there. That period, though seemingly carefree, was when you were sicker, much sicker than you are now.

Take a moment to reflect – you've actually come a long way. Congratulations! You are healed.

But, hold on – being healed doesn't equate to never getting sick again or never having a bad day. It's not a fixed destination; rather, it's a continuous journey. Being healed means you've developed the curiosity and awareness to understand the language of your body – precisely what I teach in Nourishment Gateway.

Every day, as you utilise the tools in your healing toolkit, you reinforce your state of healing. It's an ongoing practice of resilience, peace, and love. Embrace the fact that your goal of being healed isn't a distant point in the future; it's with you here and now, woven into every action you take to nourish yourself. Every step is a testament to your healing journey.
